A silent sigh esacpes the weeping earth
And another moment flits past
Withered hands counting grain
With sunken eyes that never question
Every sunrise that brought pain
Yet another day that must be endured
For each night that slays its promise
Life has stumbled along paths
Worn with naked feet
Only pebbles that ebb a tale
The lament of their lives is simplicity
Life is one day just re-lived
Dead like veins that carry only tears
And the dusty wind that bears no hope
... Never a child has played here since
The day eternity blazed a searing desperation
Within each heart a tale untold, died...
