Mumbai

Breath of my people
Darken my trembling walls
As these lead ashen skies embrace
Wailing days that forever linger

Every frozen tear now whimpering
Waiting the everlasting night;
And squarely black the longing gems
Studded within despair droop

Withered my hands rake destinies
Every moment a debt to Time
As day squanders night a gamble of light
Surrenders withering souls

Oh soul of my world
Watch over my millions tonight
They owe a life to torn hopes
Though never this grief you see

And carry a song to wherever
The dream seems to shine
When waters of pain gush from you
Only your love can be mine

Very provocative post Sean... heart goes out to be with everyone who were made a victim in that cruel showcase of terrorism.

Really,

"Breath of my people
Darken my trembling walls"...
